The insurance meets the legal requirement necessary to obtain a Residence card in Poland. The insurance offered is in accordance with Article 25 point 2) point a) of the Act of 23 December 2013 on foreigners and covers all expenses that may arise during your stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland: in connection with the need to travel back for medical reasons, the need for urgent medical assistance, emergency hospital treatment or death.

Statutory sum insured not less than EUR 30,000 to cover medical expenses.

The insurance is required during a stay in Poland and at the Voivodship Office (or the Office for Foreigners) for a foreigner to submit an application for a Residence card (for a temporary or permanent residence permit in Poland).

Medical insurance for the Residence card is provided by a foreigner for a period from 1 month to 1 year. The insurance may be extended for another insurance period.
